Recipes
Create, import, search, and export a portable recipe collection.
Recipes are the durable center of Mise. Each recipe contains familiar cooking fields while retaining its Schema.org representation.
Add a recipe
Use Recipes → New recipe to enter a recipe manually. Name and ingredients are the most important fields; preparation time, yield, nutrition, images, sections, and instructions can be added as available.
To bring structured recipes from another system, upload or paste Schema.org Recipe
JSON-LD. Mise also supports an optional public library catalog configured through
PUBLIC_LIBRARY_URL.
Recipe instructions
Instructions can be simple ordered steps or named sections containing steps. This
maps to Schema.org HowToStep and HowToSection, so multi-part recipes do not need
to be flattened.
Portability
The household settings include an export of the recipe library. Keep this export with regular database backups when recipes are especially important.
